Fort Worth Lambda is an A.A. group composed primarily of gay and lesbian members. However, we wish to stress that anyone who has a problem with alcohol
is welcome to attend our meetings.
We follow the meeting guidelines suggested by
A.A. World Services and try to adhere to the principles found in the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous.
Meetings are at 8:00 p.m., with the exception of the Women's Meeting at 5:00 p.m. on Sundays. and the Tuesday and Thursday Meetings At 7:00p.m.
We currently have one literature study,
one Step study, one speaker meeting, and five discussion meetings per week. All speaker meetings are open (anyone may attend), and all discussion meetings, except for the Monday Newcomers' meeting, are closed (only those who think they have a problem with alcohol may attend).
Lambda is a non-smoking group.
Our birthday celebration is the first Saturday of the month, with a covered-dish dinner at 6:30
and a celebration of sobriety at 8:00.
Group Conscience is the first Sunday
of the month at 6:15.
